Anchor Inspections & Load Testing
Ensuring the structural integrity of your roof anchors and fall protection systems is a strict regulatory requirement. National Exterior Access Inc. provides comprehensive visual inspections and physical load testing services to keep your building fully compliant with WorkSafeBC and current CSA standards.
Annual Visual Inspections
As per CSA standards, roof anchors and suspension systems must undergo a documented visual review at intervals not exceeding 12 months. Our comprehensive inspection process ensures your equipment is safe for use and includes:
A thorough assessment of all exposed and accessible system components to identify any signs of deterioration or fatigue.
Verification that the equipment is installed in conformity with the original engineered design stamped drawings.
A review of roof plans and system documentation to ensure ongoing compliance.

Anchor Load Testing (5-Year Requirement)
For anchor or suspension systems attached to concrete structures using adhesive, physical load testing is legally required at intervals not exceeding 5 years, as per manufacturer's requirements.
We facilitate rigorous in-line load testing to simulate load conditions and ensure the anchors show no signs of permanent deformation.
Upon successful completion, you receive a formal, certified stamped load test report valid for up to 5 years.
Professional Engineering Certification
Safety is our ultimate priority. To guarantee complete regulatory compliance, our formal load test and inspection reports are reviewed, signed, and sealed by a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
